Relationship Coaching
| What is working really well in your relationships? What are the drains? What about the relationship is getting in the way of your team, partnership or organization reaching its goals? Being in relationship, either professional or personal, may be one of the most challenging events in our lives. Almost everyone has had experiences with difficult relationships - a boss, a spouse, a business partner. Relationship coaching comes into play when the ups and downs of a difficult relationship seem to be taking over one’s life and becoming an obstacle to achieving goals. Relationship coaching is a program that is designed by executive coach Wayne Caskey and Lynne. Through this program, Wayne and Lynne make up a team that works with the individuals in the relationship as well as coaching the relationship itself. Their specialty is family-owned businesses. Recently, Lynne worked with the father and son of a family-owned business on their personal and business relationship while Wayne coached them and other executives on their professional goals and development. Overtime, the father-son relationship shifted to one of antagonism and criticism to one that was supportive and appreciative. The outcome was that the executives felt that the business had strengthened to withstand newly arrived competition. The uniqueness of this approach allows the relationship to become productive, respectful and mutually supportive while the individuals also address their own personal and professional goals. Additionally, the clients gain the perspectives and insights from working with two coaches with a wide range of backgrounds.
